Plaza product range

- designed by Henning Larsen

The Plaza series was created by one of Denmark's most recognised architects, Henning Larsen. The series was originally designed for a major prestige project - the former Unibank on Christiansbro, owned by APT Ejendomme. Since then, the Plaza series has evolved into one of our most sought-after product ranges.

With its simple design language and high quality, the Plaza series is used in a number of significant projects, including Tuborg Strandeng, Odense Harbour, Aarhus Harbour, Fløttmannspladsen in Bergen and Bølgen in Vejle.

Henning Larsen

Henning Larsen (1925-2013) was one of Denmark's most recognised architects and founder of Henning Larsen Architects. He is known for combining aesthetics, functionality and light in his buildings, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh, the Harpa Concert Centre in Reykjavik and the Opera House in Copenhagen. Graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture in 1952, he put light at the centre of his projects and was influenced by a Scandinavian design tradition with a focus on materials and the interaction of buildings with their surroundings.

Henning Larsen also designed urban street furniture, including the Plaza series, which includes lighting, bollards and drainage grates. The series was originally designed for a major prestige project - the former Unibank on Christiansbro, owned by APT Ejendomme. His influence on modern architecture and design remains strong and his work continues to inspire architects and designers globally.
