Sluseholmen is a neighbourhood where water, city and housing merge into a higher whole. Before Sluseholmen was built, Copenhagen's South Harbour was a deserted and run-down industrial harbour. Now, large and small townhouses sit side by side right next to the canal.
The project in Sluseholmen won the City of Copenhagen's Architecture Prize in 2009. As part of the award-winning project, Arkitema, in collaboration with GH Form, designed and produced the Dock-Line Series.
Waste bins, bollards, wooden hole grates, point drainage grates and bicycle hangers - all from the Dock-Line series and in untreated cast iron - give the area a unified look.
