In just a few years, the Århusgade neighbourhood in Copenhagen's Nordhavn has developed into a vibrant urban area where historical heritage meets modern urban life. With a unique mix of old, restored buildings and new, modern housing, the neighbourhood has achieved a special place in Copenhagen.

The proximity to the harbour and the many pleasant squares and promenades make the area a favourite spot for residents and visitors alike.

Since the first residents moved in in 2015, the neighbourhood has grown to over 2,000 inhabitants. The buzzing city life is now flourishing with cafés, restaurants, speciality shops and supermarkets in the heart of the neighbourhood - Århusgade and the surrounding alleys.

You will find a large selection of our products in untreated cast iron - especially the Pictoform® Blind Dividers and the Nordhavn Bike Racks, designed specifically for the project. The Nordhavn Bike Racks are based on the cyclists' need to be able to lock their bikes - that's why the bike racks are equipped with three holes for cable locks.

In 2024, the urban planning of the Århusgade neighbourhood won the City of Copenhagen's Building Award, which since 1903 has rewarded architects and developers behind particularly remarkable architecture.
