Munkebjerg Park

Munkebjerg Park is a dense and mixed neighbourhood with housing, services and businesses connected by green surroundings. A dynamic neighbourhood where all generations live together.In 2023, the entire neighbourhood has been DGNB certified for its sustainable development.

Juul Frost Architects are responsible for the integrated landscape and urban design, which includes a new city square, a park and a lake as well as playgrounds. 

Drainage is an integral part of the urban environment, and our Linear Cast Iron Line Drainage Grating plays an important role. Linear is designed by Henning Larsen Architects and has EPD certification. In Munkebjerg Park, the drainage is creatively utilised to create small fountains that bring a playful element into the urban space.

In 2020, Munkebjerg Park won the Odin Prize, awarded by Odense City Association in recognition of the neighbourhood's qualities.
