Can the flower pots be used for urban hedging?
Yes, our flower boxes are unusually heavy and the cast iron makes them highly suitable for urban security and screening. The planters will not be damaged by collisions, they may just need a coat of paint.
The Kungsan safety barrier is a mobile unit that can be used for permanent installation as well as for temporary barriers at e.g. city events.

Are the flower baskets big enough for trees?
Yes, our largest Kungsan Flower Box Ø1500 and Matera Flower Boxes can be planted with trees up to 5 metres high. That way, it's easy to divide spaces or screen off views in a natural way.
How long is the lifespan of a cast iron flowerpot?
Cast iron products are robust and have a really long lifespan. Their function remains unchanged for years and they withstand heavy physical impact. The flowerpot itself is guaranteed for 25 years against breakage and deformation.
What is the advantage of choosing a cast iron flowerpot?
Cast iron flower pots have many advantages. Watering frequency is low as water cannot diffuse through cast iron. The lifespan is enormously long and they can be used as decoration - room dividers or as a secure barrier in urban spaces. The cast iron troughs are frost-resistant and can withstand heavy physical impact.

As the only ones on the market, all our outdoor planters and planters are EPD certified, making it easy for you to document the environmental impact of your project.
Do you have irrigation systems for your flower pots?
Yes, we have different irrigation system solutions for each flower pot. Contact us by phone and we will advise you on the best solution depending on the choice of flowerpot, size, planting etc.
Do you have plant inserts?
Yes, because the planting insert makes it easy to change the planting. By using multiple plant inserts per planter, you can prepare the next planting elsewhere and move the planted insert out into the urban space once it is established. The planting insert is made of fibreglass. The inserts have lifting hooks so they are easy to change.
