Bølgen / Vejle

The Wave, designed by Henning Larsen Architects, is an iconic residential building by Vejle Fjord. Inspired by Jørn Utzon's Sydney Opera House and the beautiful landscape around Vejle Fjord, Bølgen has won several prestigious awards, including "Residential Building of the Year" in 2009.

Along the wave's undulating silhouette stand the Plaza lamps, both as bollard lamps and street and park lamps, both designed by Henning Larsen.

Ideal for the harsh coastal weather, the robust cast iron Plaza lamps help to emphasise the unique architecture of The Wave - both day and night.

The wave is a distinctive landmark for Vejle and a living example of how architecture and landscape can merge.
