Classic Copenhagen Round Bench
Classic Round Bench most often seen in squares, parks and historic harbour facilities. The round bench can be designed with a shape that either curves inwards or outwards, depending on the need. When the bench curves outwards around a tree, for example, it creates a greater distance between people, which increases the utilisation of the seating space. An inward curve, on the other hand, makes the bench more socially inviting as all seats make eye contact.
The bench is available with armrests in the number and position you want.
Standard dimensions include an inner diameter of 1800 mm and an outer diameter of 3000 mm.
The bench ends are cast in iron, while the seat and backrest are made of FSC®-certified mahogany. The backrest is steam-bent wood that is customised with specific radii according to the project. The bench is produced with one or two backs and is mounted on cast iron bench ends. All joints are made of stainless steel.
The round bench can be attached to a foundation or placed on a stable surface and the seat height is 46 cm.

In its original design, the bench was created for the World's Fair in Copenhagen in 1888. We produce the original Copenhagen Bench with great precision and attention to detail.
