The Mobilia Round Bench is a modular, curved bench system that can be customised in both length and radius to fit the exact needs of the project. The strength and robustness of the bench makes it particularly suitable for public spaces, where it can form circular or s-shaped bench sequences, creating unique and flexible seating areas.
As standard, the bench is produced in 2-metre modules, while the radius is customised according to the project. The curved bench modules come with 40 x 80 x 600 mm wooden slats that are laid radially to follow the shape of the bench. If the bench has a diameter of less than 4 metres (measured on the outside), the wooden parts are cut at an angle to ensure a precise fit.
The legs of the bench are manufactured in either steel or cast iron, and FSC®-certified mahogany is fitted with neoprene to create a cushioning effect. This ensures that wood and screws can move freely in changing weather conditions and extends the life of the bench.
The Mobilia Round Bench is usually founded below ground level for optimal stability, but can also be supplied with shortened bench legs for installation directly on the ground. The seat height is 45 cm, but can be adjusted depending on project requirements and foundation method.
