Axeltorv, Nakskov

Axeltorv is the obvious meeting place in Nakskov. It is a vibrant and inviting urban space that supports activities, events, city life and communities.

The new square is designed to accommodate a wide variety of events and happenings throughout the year, but also serves as a beautiful and functional living space for everyday life.

Our Copenhagen Round Benches and Copenhagen Benches play an important role in Axeltorv, where they invite people to stay and socialise. Plaza Reflective Bollards regulate traffic in the area.

The project was realised as part of Nakskov 2030, a partnership between Lolland Municipality, the A.P. Møller Foundation and Realdania.

The renovation of Axeltorv in Nakskov was designed by SLA and completed in 2023.
