Hørsholm pedestrian street

The project includes the renewal of the pedestrian street with associated squares and passages. The entire city centre has been given a major quality boost with new natural stone paving, lush trees, plantings and new fixtures and lighting.  

GH Form has customised the Mobilia Round Bench with backrest for the project. The round benches create small oases in the new Apotekertorv and their round shape allows for planting in the centre. Mobilia Benches have been installed along the pedestrianised area for tired shoppers.

The eye-catcher at Apotekertorvet is the beautiful, round water installation with 14 bouncing water jets surrounded by Drops Line Drainage. Drops Tree Hole Gratings, designed by landscape architect Henning Jørgensen, and Plaza Point Drainage Gratings, designed by Henning Larsen, complete the drainage.

Pictoform® 36 Guiding Lines have contrasting colour in the elements to make the guiding lines more visible to the visually impaired.

In 2016, the project was awarded the prize for "Beautiful building in Hørsholm Municipality".
