Main entrance Frederiksberg Garden

At the main entrance to Frederiksberg Gardens stand the three long, curved benches - and they have been there since the early 1900s. Each bench measures approximately 20 metres and is popularly known as the gossip benches. 
   
With respect for history and focusing on the fact that the long benches were worthy of preservation, we have, in collaboration withDanish Agency for Culture and Palacesrenovated the three castle and garden benches. Most of the existing wood was reused and all cast iron gables renovated and reused. 
   
We always focus on sustainability and work to recycle all cast iron and as much wood as possible. It must be said that the benches have been a good investment as the benches were installed almost 120 years ago. 

Street lamps and cast iron signs at the main entrance to the garden are part of our "Historic Castings Programme", where we specialise in recreating old historic castings.
