Jette Tikjøbs Plads is located in the new Aarhus Ø neighbourhood at the end of Bernhardt Jensens Boulevard. The square is designed with green areas, direct access to Aarhus Havbane and views over Aarhus Bay.

On the outer part of the square, right on the waterfront, is the architectural Z-Huset, a combined residential and commercial building just minutes from Aarhus' shopping and café streets.
