Nyboder / The yellow sticks

De Gule Stokke in Nyboder has housed Defence personnel for almost 400 years. The homes are listed and possess unique cultural, historical and architectural values. The homes have been renovated - the roof structure, facade, chimneys, gardens and courtyards have also been restored and modernised.

We produced and delivered cast iron roof windows - a reconstruction of the original roof windows - for the project. The roof windows are approved by the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces for use in listed and preservation-worthy buildings.

The renovation was carried out in collaboration with the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces, focusing on the area's conservation value and its importance to Danish architecture and cultural heritage.
