Pictoform® 36

Tile with baffles

Pictoform® 36 Cast iron tiles are manufactured with moulded tactile markings in the form of guide lines.

Size:
> L 300 x W 300 x H 70 mm / Tile with 4 x 36 mm guide line
> L 350 x W 350 x H 70 mm / Tile with 5 x 36 mm guide line
> L 400 x W 400 x H 70 mm / Tile with 6 x 36 mm guide line

In addition to the tactile function, the tiles have special acoustics that allow them to be heard when using a mobility cane, providing extra help for the blind and visually impaired.

For optimal guidance, it is recommended to set up attention areas at the start and end of the guidance line, as well as at changes in direction or places where increased attention is needed.

Pictoform®36 elements meet the requirements of the EU guidelines ISO/DIS 21542 for guidance lines.

The cast iron develops a deep brown patina. The dark colour of cast iron corresponds approximately to NCS code S6020-Y70R. To meet accessibility requirements, there must be a lightness contrast of 0.4 in relation to the surrounding paving.

Our Pictoform® cast iron guidance lines are EPD documented and developed in accordance with recognised European and international standards, including the requirements of EN 15804. The guidance lines are cast from 100% recycled iron, ensuring a minimal climate footprint.
