Pictoform® 36

Tile with guidance lines

Guidance lines can be used for many purposes. They can mark a route across an area, indicate a transsition from, for example, pavement to road, or designate bus stops, and more. There is especially a need to establish the system at traffic hubs and in city centres with open squares and pedestrian streets.

Pictoform® 36 Cast iron tiles are produced in sizes:
> L 300 x W 300 x H 8 mm / Tile with 4 x 36 mm guidance line
> L 350 x W 350 x H 8 mm / Tile with 5 x 36 mm guidance line
> L 400 x W 400 x H 8 mm / Tile with 6 x 36 mm guidance line

A tile is an 8 mm thick cast iron plate, with grooves cast into the underside for optimal adhesion. The top surface is identical to the rest of the tile product range.

Pictoform®36 elements meet the requirements of the EU guidelines ISO/DIS 21542 for guidance lines.

The cast iron develops a deep brown patina. The dark colour of cast iron corresponds approximately to NCS code S6020-Y70R. To meet accessibility requirements, there must be a lightness contrast of 0.4 in relation to the surrounding paving.

Our Pictoform® cast iron guidance lines are EPD documented and developed in accordance with recognised European and international standards, including the requirements of EN 15804. The guidance lines are cast from 100% recycled iron, ensuring a minimal climate footprint.
