The Plaza Reflective Bollard is designed to withstand impact and remain intact even under load. With built-in reflectors in the slots, the bollard lights up in the dark when hit by traffic cones.
For places where passage is occasionally needed, the bollard is available in both a collapsible and demountable version. There is also a variant with a compliant mandrel that allows the bollard to tilt up to 45 degrees on impact and then straighten up again.
Plaza Reflective bollards are available in a number of variants:
> Fire bollard
> Bollard for dismantling or disassembly.
> With compliant foot
The standard model is made of steel and cast iron and is available in two heights, but is also available in stainless steel and cast bronze.
In areas with heavy snowfall, such as northern Scandinavia, Plaza Bollards can be replaced with Plaza Marking Nails during the winter months. This prevents bollards from being hidden under the snow and inadvertently removed by snow ploughs. The marking nail can easily be mounted with a threaded rod in the bollard base.
The Plaza Reflective Bollard is designed without loose parts and moulded in one piece, resulting in an extremely solid construction.
The cast iron bollards are also EPD certified according to EN 15804, and the certification can be found in EPD Denmark's database at epddanmark.dk.
