BLOX

In 2018, BLOX opened on the waterfront in Copenhagen. BLOX houses a whole world of architecture, design and new ideas. BLOX is a brand new neighbourhood on the waterfront - right in the heart of historic central Copenhagen.

In addition to being an eye-catching building on Copenhagen's waterfront, BLOX with its squares, bridges and urban spaces is an example of the city's development; especially around the harbour, which is buzzing with life and experiences.

As part of the urban space around BLOX, you can find our Dock-Line Line drainage grates in untreated cast iron, as well as Pictoform® Guide Lines, Marker Tiles and solo elements in stainless steel.

In 2023, Copenhagen was the World Capital of Architecture and BLOX was a hub of activity throughout the year.

BLOX is designed by the Dutch architectural firm OMA and financed by the Realdania organisation. The large construction and urban development project is built by Realdania By & Byg.
