Customised Dan Turèll Bench

The focal point of Dan Turèlls Plads is a large alphabet sculpture that honours the author and creates a clear identity for the square.

Under the treetops, you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the 47-metre long curved green bench. The bench refers to Turèll's 47-year life and his time in Paris.

The bench is custom-made for the Dan Turèlls Plads project. It was designed in collaboration between 1:1 Landskab, visual artist Kenn André Stilling and GH Form.

The bench is 47 metres long and the bench ends are made of cast iron. Plaza Reflective Bollard frames the space and keeps unwanted traffic out.
