The circular tree grate is available in five different sizes and consists of three identical cast iron elements. Each element forms a 120-degree circular section and is assembled around the tree using stainless steel bolts and nuts on a solid steel frame.
The grate is available in five sizes:
> Ø1000 mm / Ø300 mm
> Ø1170 mm / Ø270 mm
> Ø1500 mm / Ø270 mm
> Ø1800 mm / Ø660 mm
> Ø2400 mm / Ø640 mm
The steel frame is designed with feet placed at intervals of 500 mm along the perimeter. It can either be levelled in soil-moist concrete or placed on concrete tiles that are adjusted on a stable gravel base. In addition to providing a secure installation, the frame also protects the tree roots. All steel components supporting the grate close to the tree have sloped edges that lead away from the roots to ensure optimal growing conditions.
The tree grate is designed to withstand loads from small and medium-sized vehicles, making it ideal for both urban and trafficked areas.
All our cast iron tree grates are EPD documented - an environmental product declaration developed in accordance with recognised European and international standards as well as the requirements of EN 15804.
