Original design created in the year 1888

Copenhagen Bench

In its original design, the bench was created for the World's Fair in Copenhagen in 1888. We produce the original Copenhagen Bench with great precision and attention to detail.

The bench is available in three versions:
> The classic version with inlaid wood in the bench ends
> A version with two backrests inlaid into the bench ends
> A model where the wood is bolted to lugs cast into the bench ends, allowing easy replacement of individual wooden parts without disassembly

The high seating comfort is due to the curved shapes of the backrest and front seat slat, as well as the rounded edges of the wood. The bench ends are cast in iron, while the seat and backrest are made from FSC® certified mahogany. All joints are assembled with stainless steel screws and bolts, ensuring long durability.

The bench can be mounted on a solid surface or via a foundation and is also available in a child-sized version.
