Design / Knud Holscher Design
The bench is designed with accessibility and seating comfort in mind. It has deep armrests, optimal height, comfortable angles and good back support. Armrests can be retrofitted as needed.
The bench combines Danish design, Swedish standards and Norwegian wood. The end caps are made of cast iron, while the seat and backrest are made of Scandinavian heat-treated wood, which can be customised for specific projects. The wooden parts can be replaced separately without removing the bench from the foundation.
It is available to be moulded or set up on a pavement/foundation and can also be manufactured with slats (narrow wooden parts). The seat height is 46 cm, depending on the foundation. All wooden parts are solid and the seat is supported along the entire length to prevent sagging.
