Penta Plinth has a pentagonal shape and can either stand alone or be combined to form different patterns and shapes. Without a wooden seat, it can also be used as a table. It is extremely robust and designed to withstand years of use in urban spaces.
The plinth is cast in coloured and painted concrete and is available with or without a wooden seat. The standard colour is black, but other colours are available on request. The FSC®-certified mahogany seat wood is mounted on a steel frame that bolts to the plinth, and the rounded edges ensure increased comfort. There are no visible screws, but it is still easy to replace wooden parts.
The plinth is moulded 200 mm higher than normal seat height and is installed on a levelled layer of stable gravel 200 mm below finished ground level. Alternatively, it can be supplied with a base for installation directly on the finished surface. The seat height is 46 cm or customised according to the needs of the project.
