The Dock-Line rectangular tree grate is designed to frame and protect trees in hard surfaces such as tiles or asphalt. The grate is part of the overall Dock-Line series, which combines functionality and aesthetics in urban spaces.
The grate is manufactured in one size:
> L 1800 x W 600 x H 150 mm
The grate consists of two elements that are assembled around the tree on an underlying steel frame. It features a cast recess that hides the frame and allows the paving to extend right up to the grate, enabling it to blend naturally into its surroundings. A characteristic detail of the design is the grate's chamfered edge, where the outer edges meet the ribs - a consistent aesthetic feature throughout the Dock-Line series.
The Dock-Line series was developed for Sluseholmen in Copenhagen and includes, among other elements, benches, bicycle racks, reflective bollards, linear drainage, point drainage and waste bins. The series is designed to provide a cohesive and refined solution for urban spaces.
All our cast iron tree grates are EPD documented - an environmental product declaration developed in accordance with recognised European and international standards as well as the requirements of EN 15804.
