Orbit Tree Grate

The Orbit Tree Grate combines aesthetics and functionality, making it ideal for urban spaces that require an elegant and durable solution.

The Orbit Tree Grate is part of the Orbit series, which also includes a linear drainage grate. The design is square with a three-dimensional pattern of concentric circles, where individual lines overlap the central hole.

The grate is manufactured in one size:
> 1800 x 1800 mm / Ø500 mm

Flexible frame: Available in two variants, the detachable version allows the tree to be planted at a later stage. The outer part of the frame can remain in the paving when the support structure is removed, making it easier to replace or plant a new tree without affecting the surrounding paving.

Materials and assembly: The grate is made of robust SG cast iron and consists of two halves that are assembled onto an underlying steel frame using stainless steel bolts and nuts.

Stability and protection: The steel frame has support feet along the outer edge and can be installed in soil-moist concrete or on concrete tiles with stabilised gravel. It protects the roots of the tree, and all steel parts feature angled edges that lead away from the roots. Closest to the tree, the frame has a thickness of 20 mm for added durability.

All our cast iron tree grates are EPD documented - an environmental product declaration developed in accordance with recognised European and international standards as well as the requirements of EN 15804.
